Welcome

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why things don’t feel right. Counselling offers a space to slow down, explore what’s going on for you, and begin to make meaningful changes.

I’m Charlotte, a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Alongside my counselling work, I bring over 20 years of experience working within the NHS as a nurse, supporting adults and teenagers through emotional distress, illness, relationship difficulties and life challenges.

I work with Adults and young people aged 13-18, offering a warm, confidential space where we can explore what’s going on for you and work together towards greater understanding, clarity and change.

I work with a wide range of issues including:

  • anxiety, stress and overthinking.

  • low mood and loss of motivation

  • relationship difficulties or feeling unhappy in a relationship

  • separation or divorce

  • self-esteem and confidence

  • eating and body image concerns

  • sexual health, intimacy and libido issues

  • menopause and mid-life transitions

  • grief and loss

  • childhood trauma

  • life changes and feeling stuck

  • emotional difficulties affecting teenagers and young people

I offer both short and long-term therapy, with flexible sessions weekly, fortnightly, or as suits your needs, so you can access support in a way that works for you.

I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS check for working with young people.

I offer 50 minute face to face counselling sessions in Hassocks for adults and teenagers, also serving clients across Brighton, Burgess Hill, Hurstpierpoint and surrounding areas. I also offer online sessions, as well as a free 15-minute introductory call if you’d like to see whether we might feel like a good fit.
